Welcome to Cantalice Café, a charming gem nestled on R. das Tarrafas in the captivating coastal neighborhood of Calhau, São Luís - MA, Brazil. This coffee shop is more than just an ordinary café; it’s a delightful meeting point where rich flavors and a vibrant atmosphere come together to create an inviting setting perfect for both relaxation and social gatherings.

Upon stepping inside Cantalice Café, the first thing that strikes you is the beautifully designed space, ideal for enjoying a leisurely coffee date or an engaging afternoon with friends. The aesthetic is appealing yet comfortable, making it a cozy retreat. However, keep in mind that some patrons have noted the indoor areas could get a bit warm, especially in the more reserved zone with plush sofas, a testament to the café’s intention to create an intimate environment.

As for the menu, Cantalice Café presents a selection of tempting options that make for delectable indulgences. Although the bruschettas are highly praised—especially the bacon and frutas vermelhas varieties, known for their delightful blend of flavors—there's a hint of desire for greater variety in offerings. Recent guests have highlighted the croissants for their buttery richness and pleasant satisfaction, complemented nicely by beverages like the mocha caramelo and frappuccino. While some drinks didn’t live up to expectations, those seeking a relaxing moment can always find comfort in a warm cup of chocolate or their delightful pastries.

Readers will find mixed feedback about Cantalice Café, with some reviews expressing concerns about pricing and the value provided. A recent customer, Paulo Furtado, expressed that while the food was good, the elevated prices may not justify a return visit. On a brighter note, Diany Araujo praised the café’s aesthetics and mouthwatering bruschettas, though mentioned that the popular beverages lacked a distinct edge. Meanwhile, Thays Fernanda da Costa Barros aptly described the café as lovely for an afternoon coffee break, though she wished for more options on the menu.

Aside from the culinary adventure, it's worth noting that Cantalice Café adds a pleasurable twist to your typical coffee outing. With a service charge factored into your total, customers are reminded to appreciate the attentive staff who work hard to craft a pleasant dining experience. While cleanliness might also be an area of improvement, the welcoming nature of the staff and the inviting ambiance makes Cantalice worth visiting.

It's the perfect spot to savor delicious bites, sip on your favorite coffee, and soak in the lively ambiance that this local favorite has to offer.
